Liza Kina Idum
President & CEO
Liza Kina Idum Echobei is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nulla Farms, a significant agricultural and community development initiative spanning 10,000 hectares in her home country of Cameroon. She is recognized as a strategist, a financial expert, and an exceptional project manager. Liza advocates for collaboration and partnership to achieve shared benefits.
Previously, Liza held the position of Head of Corporate Banking at Union Bank of Cameroon, where she utilized her exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance the customer experience. During her tenure at Union Bank, she authored and presented a paper addressing the Global Economic Downturn and its effects on the banking industry in Cameroon. Currently, Liza is dedicated to addressing food security issues in Central Africa.
She is passionate about ensuring that sub-Saharan Africa can meet its nutritional requirements through sustainable practices. Her efforts are directed towards fostering community development, encouraging agricultural innovation, and implementing extensive public education initiatives. Liza holds an MBA in Finance, a Master of Science in Management Systems, and a Diploma in Computing and Information Systems. She resides in Cameroon with her five teenage daughters.
Arrey Obenson
Board of Directors Chairperson
Arrey Obenson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of International Institute of St. Louis. Since his appointment in February 2021, the Institute has seen tremendous growth, has raised the profile of the organization and developed a clear vision for St. Louis for the next 100 years.
Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Transformunity, a consulting firm that harnesses opportunities of corporations and organizations to transform the world, and previously served as Secretary General of Junior Chamber International, an organization of young leaders active in 124 countries.
Obenson has been recognized as a Great Immigrant, Great American in 2022 by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and Titan 100 CEO of St. Louis amongst other awards. He is a husband, father of two boys, and an active citizen. He is a barrister at law and member of the Cameroon Bar Association. He holds a Master of Law degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, United States.
Throughout his career, Obenson actively engages actors from all sectors of society— businesses, governments, and civil society—to identify their opportunities and develop strategies to achieve growth. Obenson is a visionary leader and world-class facilitator who has inspired and engaged audiences of 50 to 5,000 in nearly 100 countries. Obenson is also the author of “Bridging the Opportunity Gap,” published in 2021. He is actively creating opportunities for the people of his country of origin, Cameroon, where he is founder of the I Am Cameroon movement.

Karl Toriola
Chief Executive Officer: MTN Nigeria
Karl joined MTN in 2006 and has held various senior operational roles across the Group, including CEO of MTN Cameroon and CTO of MTN Nigeria.
Before his appointment as CEO of MTN Nigeria, he held the position of Vice President for the West and Central Africa Region. Other experience includes Chief Operations Officer at Airtel Nigeria and various roles at Ericsson in Switzerland and Nigeria. Karl is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) as well as a member of the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) and the Institute of Directors

Mobolaji Oludamilola Balogun
Chief Executive Officer of Chapel Hill Denham
Mr Bolaji Balogun is the Chief Executive Officer of Chapel Hill Denham and is one of the leading deal makers by volume and value of successfully completed transactions in Nigeria, over the last decade.
Mr Bolaji has twenty-eight years of experience in financial services and mobile telecommunications. He spent eleven years within FCMB Group, in investment banking and securities trading, leaving the business in January 2001. From April 1993 to January 2001, he was Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at CSL Stockbrokers (part of FCMB Group).
